Interview training
Prepare with clarity, present with confidence
You’ve made it to the interview stage, a panel meeting, a one-on-one conversation, a competency-based interview or a presentation-style session. This is your moment to rise and shine, to be seen and to leave no doubt about your ambition.
You’re on the stage now and of course you’re aiming for gold
You want to bring forward your strengths with calm, authenticity and professionalism. To clearly show what you bring, and why that matters. But if you’ve had little interview experience, or a previous one that left you feeling uncertain, this moment can feel overwhelming. Even experienced professionals can feel unsure when asked to speak about themselves. It’s not something most of us are used to doing. Finding the right tone between confidence and humility can be challenging , especially when the stakes are high.
From pressure to presence
This training helps you to show up with presence and precision. We’ll make sure you are fully prepared for job interview across the public or private sectors. From international organisations and government agencies to institutions in the public sector and the financial world. Participants come from a range of sectors, but all share a commitment to showing up with clarity and ambition.
My experience spans a wide range of interview formats and procedures, including those used by the UN, World Bank, OECD, IMF, and EU agencies — allowing me to prepare you precisely for what to expect.
It’s equally relevant for formal procedures as well as informal conversations such as promotion interviews or internal transitions. It always deserves thoughtful preparation.
In this training, you will learn:

My approach
You start with access to an exclusive online environment with video lessons. These explain common international interview formats, practical preparation tips, and advice on managing stress, voice, presentation, dress code and camera setup.
Followed by two personal online preparation sessions:
Session 1: We discuss the role, context and key competencies and start practising answers based on the most likely question types. We also address practical details that support your presence, such as lighting, framing and attire, depending on whether your interview is online or in person.
Session 2: We simulate a full interview and work through your content, delivery and presence. You receive clear, empowering feedback and learn how to refine your message and keep it natural. This is your final rehearsal.
“Ellen’s preparation made all the difference for my UN interview. I hadn’t expected it to be so formal — the structure was tight. But I knew exactly what to say and which examples to give. Next month I’m moving to New York. I got the job.”

“Practising with Ellen showed me what to expect and what to focus on. It gave me the confidence I needed. As CFO now, I often think: if Ellen hadn’t helped me, I wouldn’t be here.”

What past participants shared about their experience:
“Without this training, I would have had no idea how to prepare.”
“Without this training, I would have had no idea how to prepare.”
Through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NCIF), I was offered the opportunity to follow an interview training with Ellen to prepare for a UN competency-based interview. I received so much insight — and yes, quite a bit of preparation too. Without it, I wouldn’t have known the type of questions to expect or how to approach them using the STAR method.
The interview itself was challenging and highly formal, but I was well prepared. I performed with confidence, clarity and persuasive strength.
I will soon begin my new role in Geneva.
I wanted this job so deeply that the pressure almost overwhelmed me. Ellen’s clarity, her explanation of the entire selection process, and her ability to pinpoint what the panel would truly pay attention to made all the difference.
The preparation took time, and it was absolutely worth it. During our practice sessions I already felt the shift. When the actual interview came, I was calm, focused, and fully myself.
After the summer, I will move to Brussels to start this new role. I got the dream job!
Thank you, Ellen.
